The Official STAR TREK Tridimensional Chess Set from the Franklin Mint is the first and only authorized re-creation based upon the futuristic chess game seen on board the great starship the USS ENTERPRISE and first introduced by Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock in the classic episode "Where No Man Has Gone Before." It is crafted of three large playing boards plus four smaller "moveable attack boards". The playing pieces are precision cast and lavishly coated with sterling silver or 24 karat gold. The set is in overall excellent condition, ready for play or display.
