This item up for bid is for a 16" Star Trek NCC-1701 Electronic Starship Enterprise created by Art Asylum for Star Trek's 40th Anniversary. A Diamond Select Release! An Art Asylum Sculpt and Design! This is Captain Kirk's Enterprise From the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan film before Khan attacks it with the U.S.S. Reliant. This version of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 features the same look and appearance as shown in the 2nd theatrical movie (Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan) to excellent detail. The "try-me" button on the dome plays William Shatner's voice yelling, "Khan!!! Khan!!" when Kirk is supposedly stranded deep under a planet's surface with no hope of rescue (at least at that moment).Measuring 16 inches long, this light-up plastic starship features new sound effects from Star Trek II and features an all-new paint scheme, which is one of the nicest coloring effects on one of these type of ships I've ever seen from Art Asylum. There is also a display base to set the ship on. It comes painted and ready for display with "Try Me" window box packaging (batteries included). PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE NON-BATTLE DAMAGED VERSION OF THE WRATH OF KHAN ENTERPRISE. WE SOLD OUT OF THE BATTLE-DAMAGED VERSIONS IN 2008. THIS ITEM IS NOW OUT-OF-STOCK FROM ART ASYLUM, AND THEY WILL NOT BE RESTOCKING IT ON THEIR WEBSITE. We check EACH and EVERY read more
