You are looking at a framed,STAR TREKLIMITED EDITIONSILVER ANNIVERSARYLASER ETCHED DISCnumber 1048 of 5000. This is the AUTHENTIC collectible laser disc distributed by Paramount Pictures and California Gold Record Co., Inc. in 1991 to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the original television series. The disc bears the images of Capt. Kirk and Capt. Picard. Please note that the colors in my photo are simply because of the flash on the hologram. The disc is very shiny & reflective. This item is in near mint condition, in the original black metal frame, double matted in dark red in the background and dark charcoal grey on top. I can see no scuffs, dents, or scratches on the frame. The glass is in near perfect condition. The ONLY imperfection that I can see is a very, very small area that I have tried to remove with Windex, but it must be under the glass.(see photo). I can't tell for sure, but it appears to be either on the mat or on the back side of the glass. This minor imperfection certainly does not detract from the beauty of this fine collectible, and I mention it only to be completely accurate in my description -- please note my 100% feedback rating -- I want to keep it that way!
