This unique, real crystal comes with a copy of the Certificate of Authenticity from a Paramount studios sanctioned auction and a COA signed by a member of the Doohan family, further authenticating this wonderful collectable . The one in the photo is the one you'll get. Prices are based on crystal size, clarity and rarity. Dilithium is a rare and valuable substance found on a handful of planets including âeoeRura Pentheâe and âeoeColidanâe and featured throughout the various Star Trek series and feature films. It is used in the warp drive systems of many starships to control the power levels generated in the reaction chamber. These Dilithium Crystals have been authenticated as having been used in Star Trek episodic television, thus each item sold will be accompanied by a copy of the original Certificate of Authenticity issued by CBS/ Paramount, and a COA from the Doohan family. Items were purchased at a Star Trek auction, or private collector.
