Up for bids here we have a vintage Kenner - Star Wars: A New Hope/12 Back/"See-Threepio (C-3PO)" action figure that was made in Hong Kong and released in North America way back in 1978! This particular piece remains mint on card...in other words, it has never been opened or removed from its original packaging...awesome! With that said, there is damage to report. So, I'll go through the various "subgrades" and list off the positive and negative aspects of this carded figure...as I see 'em: CARD - (+)Currently, no price sticker! (-)However, there appears to have been one in the upper right-hand corner as some surface rippling/stressing can be seen...not horrible but noticeable. (-)Cardback has some minor warping...particularly in the top section. (-)Overall edge wear with the worst of it being located towards the bottom of the left-hand side. (-)A couple of points of very tiny veins around the outside edges. (-)Bottom right-hand corner has an extremely small tear. (-)Tab is punched. (-)Bottom left-hand corner has small "dog ear". As for the backside, (-)many spots of veining: bottom left-hand corner...also, midway up the right-hand edge...and, coming out of the left-hand side of the tab. (-)Middle of the bottom edge has a nick. (-)Lower right-hand corner has lots of scuff marks. (+)General Mills Fun Group proof-of-purchase is intact! read more
