In good condition (box tatty) Easily held in the palm of the hand the Star Pocket provides quick and simple identification of stars by comparing them against a tiny illuminated built in star map. Pressing a button illuminates the star map to one eye while the other eye looks at the real thing in the heavens, plus 4 templates for adjusting latitude clipped underneath the compass. The Star Pocket is supplied ready for use in Europe with a Northern starmap preset for 40 - 50 latitude, 6 inches long, it stores neatly in water resistant drawstring bag. Two miniature batteries and full instructions are included.
