This is a small sized adorable Steiff Chocolate Teddy Bear, #0206/10, a Limited Edition issued in 1984. Standing, this Original Teddy is 4 inches (10 cm) tall and sitting only 3". Its chocolate colored Mohair is in superb condition and his heads, arms, and legs are jointed and move fine. It has black glass eyes, and embroidered black stitched nose and mouth. It has the Steiff button-in-ear brass metal button and yellow cloth tag with red writing which has the following: "Steiff KNOPF IM OHR 0206/10" and on the back it says "Made in Western-Germany" with the covering being 50% wool and 50% cotton. It also has the cleaning instructions tag attached and the round red and yellow "Original Teddybär" attached to its chest. This Chocolate Original Teddy Bear shows no wear at all. It has never been played with and comes from a smoke free, pet free environment. I will include a small yellow/orange/red Steiff Gift Box with this bear. These are hard to get! The pictures show the grey cardboard box that six of these bears came in - this sale does not include the box (unless you buy six of these bears). It is for illustration purposes only. This small teddy bear is hard to find - just try a few searches for it! It would make a great addition to your collection and wouldn't take up much space!
