This is the Steiff Club Bear from 2001called Growling Bear. It is a replica dating back to 1934 His body is un-jointed and stuffed with wood shavings. He is made brown mohair with beige mohair paw pads and snout The bear has a squeaker and a porcelain pendant around his neck identifying him as a Club Bear for 2001. The ear button is gold-plated with the white consecutively number edition. This is #865 of the Club Year Edition and t he original retail price was $225.00. The EAN is 420252. Sorry I am not sure where his box is.
