This is an adorable plush Steiff hand puppet in superb condition. This authentic Steiff hand puppet was named the "Bonzo" hound dog,and was manufactured between 1978 and 1987. I cannot see a single defect on any part of this puppet at all. Great eyes, red ribbon on neck, tag in perfect condition, no wear at opening where hand inserts, no stains, no blemishes, from a smoke-free and pet free home. Colors are bright and cheery. If this had the chest tag, I’d say it’s almost in mint condition. EAN 6994/30 Sortiment (1995) page #315, for you collectors. The left ear has Steiff button and the the yellow tag which reads, "Steiff, Made in Germany, 6994/30". The other side of the tag reads, "Material PA55 overtop of MASS73, then 75% acrylic/25% cotton". Button, tongue, eyes and nose are secure. There is no name-tag on his chest. Enlarging the photos and using the zoom option under them should help you see this neat little puppet accurately.
