Steiff "The Seamstress" Bear No 01203 of 2006Made in honour of Margarete Steiff, the company founder, this beautiful Bear boasts a bonnie coat which is sumptuos to touch and reflects the most romantic, feminine style of tipped Mohair. her Deep brown eyes are full of wisdom and wonder. Around her neck she wears a delicate antique lace collar indicative of that worn by the founder over 125 years ago. The bear is accompanied by a booklet which charts the remarkable life of an outstanding lady. Unfortunately Jan 2006 has been hand written in ink on the certificate envelope.Item marked as used as it has been privately owned and removed from its box. Comes from a smoke free home and has only been removed from the box for display purposes, in excellent condition complete with origional box which is in good condition (some minor blemishes from storage in loft) and certificate of authenticity. Many other Steiff bears available, collectors ill-health forces reluctant sale. If there is a particular bear that you want, please email me and if i have it i will list it on ebay for you. Postage of all Steiff bears is by Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day as this includes cover of upto £500, hence the price.
