Beer Maker / Brewer MusicalNutcracker by Steinbach. Handmade in Germany. This huge (17") nutcracker is brand new and has never been displayed. The Brewmaster wears a large black wooden hat with a wide wooden brim and gold braid trim. He has on a soft suede tan-and-brown-striped apron with a large suede pocket holding blue-and-white-checked dish towels. The apron is edged with shiny gold braid, which ties in a bow in the back. This gent has soft white hair, eyebrows, mustache and beard and piercing blue bead eyes. On one arm he holds a wooden crate of bottles (also made of wood), while in the other hand he holds a large foaming mug with a lion logo and "Bavarian" stamped on it. (The "foam" is soft fleecy material). In front of the brewmeister is his musical keg complete with spigot and plug. The key for winding the music box is on top, and t is an on/off knob t as well. It plays "Trink Trink Bruderlein Trink" (according to the label); I don't speak German but the music sounds to me like the tune for "Beer, Beer, Glorious Beer" that you may be familiar with. It comes with its original box, labeled "S1695 Brewmaster". On the bottom of the natural wood base is the stamped Steinbach logo as well as a paper Steinbach sticker. This is a heavy, solid and well-made nutcracker - but what else would you expect from Steinbach? Sure to be a hit with your favorite beer lover.

Payment and shipping: For US buyers, I accept PayPal, money order, or personal check (up to a 10-day shipping delay after I receive the check for deposit and clearance). Buyers in the Midwest and Western US: A "dimensional weighting" surcharge required by the Post Office has been added to the cost of shipping as shown on this page, due to the size of the original Steinbach box.
