UP for auction is a Steinbach Nut Cracker. I obtained this Nut Cracker from an Estate Sale in Western New York. The man it belonged to was German and he traveled to Germany frequently. I do not know the name of this Nutcracker, so I am calling it "Viking Warrior". The piece is 15" tall. The base is a 3 1/2" square. His helmet is copper with black, green and gold decoration. His arms and thighs are covered with fur. His lower leg is girthed in leather. He has hair, beard and mustache of a golden color. In his right hand is a saber and in his left is a shield with "Deutschland" and a bird-like creature with talons and forked tongue. The Nut Cracker is in good condition . The only problem is that on three corner of the top of the Helmet t is paint missing. I have shown this in the pictures. On the bottom is Original Steinbach, Volkskunst aus Hohenhameln, From West Germany. Thank you for shopping and ask if you have any questions. I will quote you shipping fees when you send me your zip.
