A very interesting stereo slide viewer from the 1950s Stereo Graphic Realist format slide Viewer - by Graflex, very unusual!Complete in box with instructions - cleaned by DrT!The Stereo Graphic viewer certainly has one the most innovative designs and best box compared to other 1950s stereo viewers I have seen.The viewer offers interocular adjustment (metal knob on the right side), focusing (red knob on right side). The light switch (red color) is located at the bottom.To put batteries just remove the two screws at the bottom. This allows access to the light compartment. The viewer takes a pair of D size batteries and a standard 2.5V light bulb.What makes the viewer special is that the front part can be removed and the viewer c an be used with available light .It has a built-in glass diffuser in the back for this purpose. The advantage of using the viewer with available light is that it is much lighter and easier to pack/carry.The viewer was made by Graflex in Rochester NY, the makers of the Stereo Graphic camera.
