You arebidding on an original Stereoview Photograph taken of the Civil War Battlefieldof Gettysburg , Pa. Stereoview ( SV ) was taken by Wm. Tipton at Gettysburg, circa 1870s - 1880s era, number # 897. Yellow card shows the monument to Hampton's Battery C & F, 1st Pennsylvania Artillery located on South Hancock Avenue just north of the Pennsylvania Memorial and south of the Hancock wounding marker. Back of card is tan / gray, blank. Great view of how the battlefield itself looked less than 25 years after the battle. SV image is clear, sharp, great detail, stereos well and has good contrast. This Stereoview is out of the Sue Boardman collection.
