Sterling Silverbacked Beveled Hand Mirror You are invited to bid for the following Item Beveled Hand Mirror with Sterling Silver Hallmarked Back and Silver covered Handle Sterling Silver Back Hallmarked Birmingham 1924 Stamped with Lion Passant - Anchor - Z (1824) and bears makers initials of WD believed to be William Davenport The silver back bears the initial W or M, the surface is badly dented and there is a dent to the side of the mirror, the glass has a partial shadow - please see listing image. The silver has not been cleaned. The mirror is useable, the bristles are in reasonable condition considering it’s age of almost 90 years The start price has been revised, reduced slightly, to compensate for the Royal Mail Postal cost increase Mirror measures approximately 10 inches long x 5.15 inches across body of mirror at widest point, the handle is covered (wrapped around) in silver Payment is to be made within 7 days of close of auction by: Cheque, Postal Order and Paypal, accepted for both UK and International Buyers.
