This your chance to buy a great sterling silver bottle opener shaped like a civil war boot. This is an unusual antique combination bottle top opener and corkscrew is marked sterling and it is signed "R, B with an arrow through it & Co Patent applied for". It is probably from the late 1800s or early 1900s. I think that only the boot part, which has a wooden inner layer, is sterling silver. This sterling silver bottle opener is in good condition, it just needs to be cleaned. The opener is 3 3/4" tall. The sterling silver boot part weights 0.7oz.
