Description:This is a Sterling Silver Finger Purse made in Birmingham in 1939 by E J Houlston and weighs 90.8 grams and this includes the lining. It measures just under 5" across, just under 2.5" tall and about 1" deep. It has the engraved letters S H E in no particular order as they overlap. The purse is lined in soft leather on a stiff backing and in fair condition considering its age with a little of the stitching coming away on one corner. The chain and finger ring is also silver and hallmarked as such. The purse itself has a few minor dents that are shown in the pictures, it does not affect the use of the purse and the hinge and clasp work perfectly well. Feel free to ask any questions.
