Up for auction are Three (3) Sterling Silver Franklin Mint Apostle Spoons Each spoon measures approx. 5 1/4" long. The spoons weigh individually 33, 34 and 35 grams. This set includes "SIMON", "JAMES" and "ANDREW" (they are marked on the back of the spoon with the Apostle's name). The spoons are also marked on the back "STERLING" and the little F over a flattened M for the Franklin Mint logo. The spoons each have a part of the Apostle's creed engraved on the bowl of the spoon. Simon's spoon is "The forgiveness of sins". Jame's spoon is "He ascended into heaven, And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty". Andrew's spoon is "And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord". Simon's spoon has a spot on the bowl of the spoon (approx. 1/8" long) and alongside the handle on the front. There are also a few small marks on the back of the spoon. There is some tarnishing on all three spoons within the grooves at the top of the handle (the part that surrounds the apostle).
