This stunning "Lettuce Fork" was made by Gorham and is in the "Newcasle" pattern dating c.1895. Gorham of Providence, RI traces its beginnings to the early 1800's. They purchased the Whiting Mfg. Co and William B. Durgin Co. in 1924, Alvin Silver Co. in 1928 and Graff Washburne & Dunn in 1961. Presently owned by Dansk. The fork is in very good condition. Measures 9.72"L. No Monograms. Marked "Sterling" with the Gorham touchmarks.
