This is a lovely old mesh purse which was in a presentation box and a chamois bag. The purse is in very good condition, I cannot find any issues with it other than it doesn't close real tight. The chain is 10" long from the clasp to the top (20" all together). T is a 1 1/4" long tassel at the bottom. The frame has cut-out decorations and is marked "CODA" (I think) and Sterling on the inside (see photo). On the outside the frame is marked "925" and has a hallmark that looks like a T in a circle. The other side is marked "AC ld Co" the above mention hallmark again, "925" and another hallmark that looks like an "S" (see photo). The bag measures 8" from the clasp to the bottom of the mesh. The box says "Alexander Clark Company Ltd - Manufacturing Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Dressing Case Makers London - Contractors to the Admiralty, War Office and Colonial Governments". The cardboard box is in good condition for it's age. Really neat item - I have not cleaned it, will leave that up to you, if you wish. Thanks for looking!
