Signed Steuben Very Large Pitcher designed by George Thompson 1950 Margaritas anyone--Retro at it's coolest!! Consider this vintage 1950's era signed Steuben classic barware Pitcher the perfect choice for your late Summer entertaining--Margaritas or Sangria punches, Martinis, refreshing Teas or Lemonades or iced sparkling waters. This is a heavy and large pitcher (just under 4lbs.) with the wonderful styling of glass master George Thompson (designer of the iconic Steuben Bouquet Vase with side prunts and the famous Teardrop Martini) evident throughout. This mid century vintage barware Pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no water stains or internal cloudiness . When held up to the light on close inspection t are some light use scratches on the base bottom and body, but these are not pronounced. This has seen very light use and is in excellent condition. A piece you will be proud to display and feel comfortable using. This very large Pitcher measures just over 10" tall by approx. 5" in diameter at it's widest point. A very generous size, when filled to the brim this holds 2 quarts of liquid. The Pitcher is fully signed " steuben " on the edge of the base bottom.
