This fantastic knife with marvelous 512 layered TWIST Damascus blade & stunning fossilized giraffe bone, real bull horn handle would look most impressive in any knife collection. Knife is not only stunning in looks but also rock solid because of its robust construction with an Incredible thick 6.5 mm blade going all the way inside the handle without any joint or weld. From tip of the blade to the but cap, Steve Davis goes all the way in creating this stunning, one of a kind custom knifewhich was purpose built to withstand years and years of use. Gorgeous unique blade, guard and But Cap of this knife is the result of hours and hours of forging. Steve Davis hand forged the blade with 1095 and 15N20 high carbon steels. Not many custom makers can keep such pattern of layers upon layers flowing all the way to the edge, creating a saw blade effect at microscopic level which allows the blade to keep cutting for longer period of time when other blades have dulled. Rockwell hardness of the blade along its edge is 59 and along the spine is 42-45. Overall length of this unique & elegant knife is 12.50" and the length of the blade is 7.50 inches. Extra thick 6.5 mm blade has superb hand grinds on both sides with top side left with a false edge. Handle of this knife is an absolute gorgeous work of art. It is made of Fossilized Giraffe Bone, real bull horn & hard Wood with brass and fiber spacers. Knife is complimented with gorgeous unique hand forged Damascus guard and but cap.
