Pair of original illustrated cardboard boxes contain cap guns by J&E Stevens Co. First is 6.5" long nickel-plated cast iron "Bang-O" from c. 1938. Box shows moderate wear including heavy creases to side panels and punctures on side panel and to one end flap and 1.5" piece out of other end flap (included). Good/VG. Tenite grips w/green plastic accent stone feature raised horsehead on left and cowboy and crossed pistols on right. Engraved frame and barrel. Nickel plating has bright finish and is unfired. NM. 7.5" long chrome-plated heavy die-cast "Pioneer" was made 1950-1955. Box shows moderate wear w/punctures and splits w/one loose inner flap (included), but main panel remains nice for display. VG overall. Painted black simulated metal stag grips show trace wear but gun remains unfired and Exc.
