My best guess is, this is a British Art Nouveau Stevens & Williams cut satin rounded vase, in the shape of a fish. The mouth is the opening, done in Pink series of indentations (one portion has a VERY small knick taken out of it, which I did not notice at first as I thought it is part of the design and it might be, in a triangle shape in the pink rim area). My guess is Frederick Carder designed it. Frederick Carder was born in England, 1864-1963 and later worked at Steuben. I also believe it to be Museum Quality as it is extremely rare. I believe it dates back to around 1880. Experts out t, please enlighten me so I can update my listing. T are two fins on either side and the tail turns up and makes up the base. It is in the English Art Nouveau style and stands 8 inches and is 3 in diameter. Colors: gold dabs on paint on the body with turquoise. The mouth is pink or salmon. The piece is Outstanding condition. I do not see any cracks or other issues. On the bottom, w the two portions of the tail meet, another piece of extra glass holds them together. T appears to be a rough edge to it. It is unnecessary to the piece and I am not even sure t is an issue with it (it is an organic piece) and this is strictly on the bottom in the middle, so does not show.
