Steward’s Bridgnorth & District Almanack, Directory and Household Guide Containing much valuable information for the public generally; Historic notes respecting our ancient parishes; illustrated humourous companion; also a farmer’s supplement. Published by Josiah William Steward, Pharmaceutical Chemist. This thick booklet has 332 pages with thin card covers. There are many advertisments, some illustrations taken from engravings (not local)., much local information and calendar events. The staples are very rusty but it is mostly tightly bound. The first 4 pages have come away from the top staple as has the coverThe pages are very good, some discolouration to the edges, the cover is rubbed on all corners with wear to the edges and some soiling.
