Here is a vintage piece of mining equipment. It is an old hand forged iron candle stick holder referred to as a"sticking Tommy". It measures 11 3/4" long and has nice dark original patina with some light surface rust. There are no maker's stamps or marks.This was found in an old shed in Cottonwood, California which is located in Shasta County. It was probably used locally at one of the many hard rock mines that existed in the county in the 1800's.Fourteen day return privilege guaranteed for money back. Buyer pays postage.
