Offered today is a BENEDICT STUDIO rectangular copper tray. It is fully marked on the underside with a clear shop mark and the number 392. This hand-wrought copper tray is from the Arts and Crafts/ Stickley era and is in fine, original condition. It is further enhanced by superb, strong hammering, great design features and nice copper heft. The hammering is so strong that it easily imprints to the backside, as is often the case with Benedict Studio pieces. It is thoroughly hammered around all cut-out edges and sides. See the many photos for further visual description. Note: Photos were taken in brightly lit room to show greater detail and patina. The patina has probably been cleaned long ago, but maintains a nice, medium nutty-brown patina with some verdigris. It is the original darker patina on the backside. This Benedict tray measures 15 and 1/4" in length and is 8 and 1/4" at the widest ends (about 6.5" at the middle). It rests completely flat without any bends. Please feel free to ask questions. Paypal, postal money orders or cashiers check gladly accepted to USA shipping addresses. Insurance is required and included in the shipping price. Thanks for looking!
