Levenger "SUNSET" Fountain Pen With 14k Gold Nib Made by Stipula, Italy Beautiful handcrafted fountain pen made by Stipula in Florence Italy. Made of precious resin and sterling silver. The flexible 14 k. gold nib writes with a smooth, wet line in a perfect medium width. This is one of numerous pens that Stipula made for Levenger during the 90's and early 2000's. I have owned and used many of these including the Verona, Firenza and others and think that this is among the finest. It has an amazing nib that I hesitate to part with but must. There are no marks to show that this is a used pen. It is nearly flawless and like new. It is 14.2 cm in length when capped and 16.5 when the cap is posted. It comes complete with satin lined box and outer cardboard box as well. I was very fortunate a couple of years ago to tour the Stipula factory in Florence, Italy and enjoyed seeing the personal handcrafted care they give to each of their pens. They produced these pens for Levenger in limited quantities and I doubt they will do so again so this is a rare opportunity. Stipula pens are now regarded as among the finest in the world and with a low reserve price this is an opportunity to own one at a fraction of the price of a new Stipula.
