Up for sale is a late 1800's Rhenser Mineralbrunnen bottle by Rhens a. Rhein Deutschland Germany. This is exactly how it is written on the bottle. Mineralbrunnen translates to mineral wells while brunnen by itself translates to fountain. The imperfections in Stoneware are what make pottery bottles so interesting. This bottle has manufacturing clay flaws and color shifts on the bottle. The stamping of the makers mark is not even. There is a small crack below the writing. It's so old that it almost has a wood like appearence. All of this comes together to create the stoneware charm that gives each bottle a unique look. It is definitely a display piece to cherish as décor rather than for active use. The bottle stands 11 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" diameter. The Rhenser stoneware pottery bottle with the primitive stamped markings is an eye-catching stoneware collectible.
