The Story of Little Black Sambo by Helen Bannerman Up for your consideration is an early copy of The Story of Little Black Sambo by Helen Bannerman. I believe it dates back to the early 1900s. This book is in poor condition, as it has considerable writing inside, mostly pencil, some crayon. The binding is in tact, but it is loose. The back cover is torn in half. Some of the pages have tears in them and creases. The front cover has the old library sticker there. All the pages appear to be in tact and present. I found no date inside the book. The book measures 4-1/8" x 5-1/2" x 5/8". It does come from a smoke free home. Not the best copy you'll find, but a neat little book.
