Up for auction is a highly collectible Pepsi Cola bottle from the 1920's. This bottle is clear, BIM, and stands 8 1/2 inches. Embossed on the front shoulder PEPSI:COLA (over) PETERSBURG, VA (in a slugplate). The opposite shoulder is embossed REGISTERED (in arc over) MINIMUM CONTENTS (over) 7 FLUID OZS. and PEPSI:COLA on the base. This bottle was recently excavated and has some minor interior cloudiness, 2 small chips on the heel, 1 small chip over the P in PEPSI, and a chip and small bruise on the back. It sounds a lot worse than it is and the worst of it is the chip on the back which can be seen in the last photoand it is slightly bigger than a pencil eraser.The spot that is seen on the front of the bottle is an air bubble.This bottle would make a great addition to any Pepsi advertising, Coke Coca Cola, or soda bottle collection and would make someone very happy if they opened it for Christmas.
