You are bidding for not one but two excellent items related to the Singapore Swimming Club. The first is a 1898 Her Majesty Queen Victoria One-Cent Green Postal Stationery Card with a rare printed message from the Singapore Swimming Club on reverse. In those days, this is a ingenious and resourceful way of advertising events happening in and around Singapore. It is nostalgic just looking at the item and reflecting what the Club must have been in the late 1890s and early 1900s. The view card shows an incredibly beautiful scene of the Singapore Harbour taken from the Club's bungalow! . Starting this at just 99.99. This complementary pair of very scarce postal stationery is worth much more surely! Only 3 types of printed messages are known for the Singapore Swimming Club thus far! Good luck in your bidding.
