If you ever carried an ALICE Ruck Sack (Large or Small) you’d know: detachable straps on that pack is probably the most needful upgrade ever conceived for a rucksack. I humped (carried for any of you 3 rd graders laughing at the idea of “HUMPING” a backpack)……..anyway I carried a Large Alice Pack for three years and it seemed like every time I needed something at the bottom of the pack I had 2 seconds to get it 10 seconds ago, the cinch straps always got stiff with mud, and never wanted to cooperate. If I had these straps way back then I could have saved all kinds of time trying to get gear and spent more time doing the important things like: smokin’, bullsh*ttin’ or napping (what did you think I was going to say??
