These were introduced in the late 1940s in response to jazz players who wanted an electrified instrument with a cutaway enabling easier access to the upper fingerboard. They have a mellow tone with bags of sustain due to the size and design of the body.Weighing 3kg and with intricate pearloid block inlays, this high-quality guitar is possibly the best built/finished semi-acoustic we supply. In fact this particular guitar is our personal favourite from the whole range - just looks beautiful in the flesh! Whether you want to play some warm jazz licks using the neck pickup or a more edgy Steve Howe solo using the bridge, this is the guitar for you!Dimensions are 103cm x 39cm x 11cm.
