Stratocaster body in mint condition. Not sure of the exact colour – could belake placid blue, ocean turquoise or lucerne aqua firemist – whichever, it is beautiful and expensive looking (see pic2). Here is the official Fender colour chart: /en-GB/support/colorchart/index.php?show=blue&color=3 And here is a 1960 LPB original Fender body that sold recently for $5000: /store/details/1960-ORIG-FENDER-STRATOCASTER-VINTAGE-OLD-LAKE-PLACID-BLUE-BODY.php Classic contoured solid wood (agathis) body, 40mm depth. Routed for three individual pickups – no ‘swimming pool’ hole found on cheaper guitars. Accordingly the body weighs a healthy 1.85 kilos (4lbs 4oz). 56mm neck pocket. Takes a modern 2 1/16 th (52.5mm) bridge and will accept a full depth, tapered sustain block. No scratches or dings, just a hairline crack in the paint at the neck join (see pic 6). Some of the scratchplate holes have been plugged and redrilled so that the screws fit perfectly straight (see pic 5). Modifications to these holes are common on strats and always hidden from view by the scratchplate. Comes with a 1957-style white single-ply 8 hole scratchplate. Thicker than the usual single ply plates, this is the same thickness and rigidity as a 3ply plate, with a classy beveled edge (pic 4). From a smoke and pet free home.
