Hi You are viewing a Stratocaster refurbished with Fender decals approximately 10 years ago. The guitar was given to me in exchange for some session work a few years back, I was going to sell it straight on, but it came in useful for sessions & live work, & only now as we are moving shortly have I decided to let it go. Firstly, don't be mislead. Although the decals etc state genuine Fender, this definitely isn't. What it is is an exceptionally well crafted facsimile which looks & sounds the part. I suspect the parts are Squire or very similar. I have taken the photos alongside my genuine 1979 Strat to give an example of parts used against the genuine article. (The back plate is missing as per photo). The copy is the red guitar, just in case you are wondering..... The body is 4 cm thick (alder?), & has always been looked after, with only a couple of minor dings & small paint scuff from live use. The action is fab, there is little fretwear, it stays in tune great, & when our band were a man short for a couple of gigs last summer, I played it ahead of me usual 335 & 'real' Strat,as it cut through best when we had to play as a 3 piece. (you will see a photo of me gigging with it in the pictures).
