Had one - bought another one - What can I say - Beautiful pattern but I do not need two - I believe it to be free of chips and cracks - Glass is quite clear - Shown in Coddington as 15-3-2 and Smith as 344-5-3 - Stand a little over 2 1/2" tall and is 2 5/8" across the top - Have lots of salts looking for new homes and am hoping to be able to continue to do regular postings - But then I have tried that before and you know well it has worked in the past - lol - But please keep checking - you never know when or what will show up - Some during the day and some at my usual 6ish evening posting time--Though we quit smoking a million years ago - we do have cats - So there will be no ashes in my wrappings but there may tend to be a cat hair or two ---There are several books available on open salts and most of them are sold on eBay - 5000 OPEN SALTS A COLLECTORS GUIDE by William Heacock and Patricia Johnson - THE OPEN SALT COMPENDIUM by Sandra Jzyk and Nina Robertson - A set of ten books by Allan B and Helen B Smith and Two books by Clark W. Brown - There are also some specialized books - The Coddington Collection which is mostly Table or Master Salts - THE HANDBOOK OF GORHAM OPEN SALT DISHES by George and Carolyn Tompkins - PRESSED GLASS SALT DISHES OF THE LACY PERIOD by L. W. & D. B Neal and DOULTON OPEN SALTS by Elaine Cooper - If you are having trouble finding an auction for any of them let me know - and I will help you -There are many clubs and there is a National Newsletter that is published three times a year - It is in color and filled with shared knowledge and information from other collectors - As much a source for the hobby as the books are - If you want to find the club closest to you and how to get the National Newsletter - Just drop me a note and I will figure out a way to get you the information link - We also have a convention every two years - You have not lived until you have attended one of OUR conventions - Next one is in 2017 and right around the corner from me - well actually down the hill and around the corner - Plan on San Diego for 2017 --I do ship at least once a week and sometimes it might be within eBay's new requested next day shipping - but more than likely not - And I still cannot tell you which day that will be - If you are in a hurry for any item - Please let me know and I will work with you on getting it to you for any special event - Oh and I lost my trusted seller logo because I am not capable of always shipping next day and also some pretty nice seller discounts - but I do believe I still have some of the nicest bidders and buyers on eBay - and if they stay happy with me - I'll be a happy seller - -All of my auctions (except the few international I do) come with free shipping and a low starting bid - My combined shipping is at an affordable rate also - Yep - it is all FREE - And I will wait until you are ready to quit bidding on my auctions or you have a box full - whichever comes first to send you an invoice --I will ship ONLY to the USA - Canada and Australia and Denmark - I am sorry to exclude other countries - But shipping is too expensive and items seem to get lost quite often - I also CANNOT give the same combined shipping rate to my CANADIAN - AUSTRALIAN and DANISH friends and bidders as I can to those in the USA but I have posted a reduced flat rate - I will let you know what the reduced combined cost is for shipping your salts as soon as I can so please wait for an invoice before paying IF you have won multiple auctions - Thank you for your patience and understanding --My return policy is simple - Don't like it - Wish you hadn't bought it - Send it on back - I will take any item back for any reason - except one - YOU broke it ---Five star rating has become rather important - If you are unhappy - Let me know - I value your return business and my high rating - I have and will continue to work hard to maintain both ---WoW - Now that all of that is over - Please feel free to bid -- read more
