This is a very early and very rare training version of the Strider Buck Tarani Spear Point Folding Knife. This excellent folding knife has been a favorite of police officers and serious end users everywhere. This training version, recognized via the blue handle, came with a dull edge and rounded tip specifically made for training. This example is a very early edition and was an identical duplicate to the real knife even down to the Paul Bos heat treated ATS-34 blade steel something that was changed in later 'Buck only' versions of this trainer and the real knife. I got this and the Strider Buck Tarani knife at the same time and carried the knife for quite a long time. This trainer has been in my safe for about the last 10 years or so +/- with no use so it is in excellent condition. This is a must for any serious collector or any end user who relies on a similar knife for duty or defense.
