Stuart Pillar Drill Unmachined Set of Casting Part no. 34-50-74020 This is an older kit, my guess 20 years, that has never been assembled but has been partially opened. Everything was found inside the original box at the bottom of a tool chest of an elderly machinist. Surface rust on some pieces, with the biggest rod (column) as seen in the pics having the most. It should come off easily. There are no instructions. The same set is still available today from Stuart. The main pic comes from the Stuart web site and represents the finished product. If you are dissatisfied with the kit and wish to return, I will pay the return shipping if returned in the same condition as received, albeit opened. Please ask questions. From the Stuart web site: "The Pillar Drill has a rising table operated by a rack and pinion mechanism, in the same way as full sized machines of the period were operated. A choice of running speeds can be selected by utilising the stepped pulley. The Stuart Pillar Drill comes complete with pre cut gears, making machining considerably easier." Specifications: Height 9 Inches. Width 5 Inches. Depth 3 Inches. Contents: Cast Iron Base, table bracket, head, pulleys. Brass Bushes. Steel Collars, column, table, spindles, pulleys, shafts, handles, lever, spacer, handwheel and finished gears. Sundries Detailed Drawings read more
