Original Studebaker dealership porcelain neon sign, maybe out of the forties or fifties. Kinda trashed condition with bends and porcelain loss. Looks like it was bent over in half, sort of the way some of the original studebaker customers were. Neon has gone the way of the five cent phone call. Size is 88 inches in length, 24 inches high and about 2 inches thick with flangeing . Somewhat hard to find sign (i mean, when was the last studebaker dealer handing out brochures ?), and even with the chips, bends and other problems, will certainly be a conversation piece in your garage or automotive display area. (Questions could range from -- you paid for that ?-- to--- was anyone hurt when the grenade went off ?) Condition -excellent colors (with whats left), outstanding original factory gloss. some scratches, porcelain chip loss (see pictures),-- minor surface rust discoloration at porcelain chips, no rust through, no bullet holes, NO TOUCHUP, and believe it or not, NO RESTORATION. A beautiful original old time dealership porcelain sign, and a great addition to your garage, automotive display, or the back or your barn.Lucky winner gets this sign crated in a wooden box for $ 25 to cover materials, plus regular shipping cost.
