Youare bidding on an original windshield cover for the Studebaker T-24, M-29 and M-29C Weasel tracked cargo carrier of WW II . This cover is used to cover the windshield glass to keep reflections from giving the vehicle’s position away. They were issued with the vehicles when delivered to the military. The cover was used on the vehicle while driving and were used with the top on and without. There are flaps on the back to cover the glass when parked or when the windshield is folded down. This original WW II cover is a bit dirty and has some stains (as the photos show). It should clean up nicely with soap and bleach. You can see where I cleaned a part of it with the cleaner called "Greased Lightning" and it is much whiter! There are two very small holes in the cover as the photos show but this will not affect the use of the cover. Remember.......it is 78 years old !! All the eyelets are there along with the cable and chain links to attach to the windshield. It is in the original white canvas with black camouflage and the hardware is also painted lusterless white. The photos are of the actual cover that you are bidding on. This cover is in the spotted "Zig Zag" scheme which was one of three camo schemes that the Weasel was delivered in.
