You are bidding on a Studer / Revox PR99 1/4" analog tape machine. The machine runs at 7.5 and 15 ips. This is a repro only machine. T are no erase or record heads. It was made for playback / transfers only. Cosmetically, the machine is in decent condition. However, it is missing the stop button as you can see in the photos. The transport works great in fast wind; forward and reverse. The play button is not working. We know that the audio circuitry is working, though, because we can hear signal with the tape in fast wind and the lifter defeated. The pinch roller is in good shape; firm, and not turning gooey. We are selling the machine as-is. You are welcome to pick it up in Chicago. All other buyers in the lower 48 United States will pay a flat $60 packing and shipping charge. We will pack it meticulously so it arrives safely. International buyers pay actual shipping. Please ask any questions before bidding.
