This is an amazing English sterling silver napkin ring which is hallmarked for Birmingham 1900 (date letter a). It has a maker's mark of I L.It is in good condition and it weighs almost 25 grams (over 2/3rd Troy ounce), it is almost 2 inches in diameter and 1.45 inches high. T are no dents, no splits and no monogrammes.It has the most wonderful reticulated design around it with Putti (Cupids or Cherubs), with garlands of flowers, dancing around the ring between the Romanesque columns and the beautiful shield shaped vacant cartouche. A lovely Baroque outdoor setting.All in all this is a super 107 years old Victorian napkin ring.Shipping within the U.S.A. and the rest of the world = $12 fully insured.
