The items for sale are 4 assorted sized printing or leatherworking oblong plates - the largest plate is approx 2.1" (53mm) long and the smallest 1"(27mm) - some of these do have some paper residue stuck on the back - age of these plates are unknown but suspect c1890-1925.The plate will posted using a padded mailite posting envelope with the plate being wrapped in cardboard ( a tough cardboard tube will used for international postage) .This is part of an antique collection of bookbinding tools that i will be selling over the coming weeks and will combine postage where possible and will be done on combined weight as it works out a lot cheaper than giving a % discount.Please be aware that they have wear,oxidisation,burnt handles etc commensurate with age and use with the tools and printing plates etc coming from the long gone old JC Player of Soho London bindery etc( see below for more detail) - some of the tools i have cleaned up as they were so black you could not make out the makers names and patterns - so please study the photo(s) to satisfy yourself to the condition as they are being sold a seen.
