There are 12 different keys you can touch with they stylus to make different sounds Then there are 3 different settings all with different sounds, for a total of 36 different sounds. When you press on the rim it also makes a scratching noise from a record player It takes 2 AA batteries it has line in and out so you can plug your ipod in and play along with your favorite song or you can plug it into different speakers and really rock out You can also record short beats and then play them back, then play on top of them there is also a tuning nob on the bottom so you can make the pitch go up and down, really cool sound effects result.
