Quality and style The Gruen watch company (pictured above) produced highly distinctive watches in Ohio for several decades in the nineteenth and up to the mid twentieth century.They were probably best known for thier "Curvex" watches, which had a unique curve to the case and sat on your wrist in a more natural fashion. We are therfore delighted to offer this suberb restored and quite rare 21 jewel Gruen curvex style wristwatch, manufactured in the forties to a high standard. This watch is in excellent condition throughout and has a new high quality italian leather strap complimenting the watch. This Gruen has been re-fitted with a multi faceted authentic glass crystal and is signed on the case,crown,dial and movement for authenticity. The watch is a good size by modern standards. The watch has a 21 Jewel Gruen movement, which has been serviced and keeps time over a extended period.The dial is a cream colour with brushed quarters to reflect the light and has gold baton type hands.
