Found in my late father's army tool box when clearing out garage. He was in army in the 1940's so this clamp is at least 70 plus years old.My father was a carpenter/joiner by trade so the clamp shows expected signs of wear.Overall in fine condition but there are 2 imperfections that need to be pointed out. Square end of left clamp (photo 4) has a split in the end grain. Lower threaded handle (photo 1) is slightly bowed due to consistent tightening when used.Still in working order, however. The curved edged clamps are 12 ins (30.5 cms ) long and 2 ins (5 cms) thick.Threaded handles are 17 ins (43 cms) long. Can still be used but more likely to have an appeal to a collector.Because of the imperfections I am offering for auction at a low starting price. Will take apart for ease of posting.Payment by PayPal please, on receipt of which I will dispatch within 2 working days.
