Sun Oil Company Porcelain Lease Sign-1980's
Sold For:

This Sun Oil Company lease sign is from the 1980's. These signs were put on the leases in the early 80's after Sun Oil split to make Sun Production and Exploration separate from Sun Pipeline, etc. Then, around 1987 or so, Sun changed its name to Oryx, so these signs were not out t in the Oklahoma weather too long. Measuring 12" X 24", this sign has the sunburst logo, says "Sun Oil Company", Fitts West Unit, Well #23-8. It is in really good condition; all grommets are intact with only one showing signs of rust. T is also very little rusting on the sign; a little on the edges, and some minor scratches from being in our garage. A great buy for your collection or for a Christmas gift for a friend or relative. Thanks for looking! I accept Paypal, cashier's checks, or money orders. Shipping is $20.00 via Priority Mail, which includes delivery confirmation and handling costs.
