SUNN O))) - ORACLE - cat# SUNN 77 - original black vinyl LP + single CD - 2007 Southern Lord Records - US release - OUT OF PRINT original black vinyl LP + single CD : the single CD version of Oracle was given away with initial purchases of the Oracle LP through Southern Lord mailorder in 2007 and this was the only way to get the album on CD at the time; the CD art for this version mistakenly indicates it's a double CD (the double CD version was originally only sold on tour); I'm also including some literature from a Banks Violette installation here in NYC. Discs will probably remain in original inner sleeves though I’ll consider removing them from custom, printed inner sleeves and ship them in a generic to protect the sleeves from ripping. - ME : I’ve been collecting, buying, selling, trading, evaluating, even producing LPs and CDs for over 25 years. I’m a music industry professional working in the area of manufacturing – specifically working with pressing plants and evaluating masters and pressings for quality and integrity (and errors and messups). I listen through almost everything I sell and strive to communicate ALL details regarding condition. Vinyl evaluations are performed at close range on a Clear Audio audiophile turntable and cartridge setup. I put a lot of time into these evaluations. I collect and love most all the music I sell – enough to buy multiple copies for upgrading and archiving and so the majority of my listings are duplicates.
