THE FALSE EDGE ON THE BLADE LOOKS 18TH CENTURY. THE HAND FORGED GUARD LOOKS TO BE BOTH CONFEDERATE OR 18TH CENTURY. The piece is untouched with a original surface patina and shape. D.
